Giorgos Trandalidis has been performing for 18 years palying and cmposing for Greek Jazz albums and taking part in international festivals with a nimber of celebrated jazz musicians. He has also been one of the first drummers who has taken part in George Barakos "Jazz Club" during the 1970s. He was the drummer of the Greek jazz group Sphinx that has recorded albums in Greece in 1978. He is considered as the first Greek composer who has succeded in producing a revolutionary work famous for its blend of jazz and traditional music.
